One of the oldest and historical osteria in Verona. Bottega del vino was founded in 1890 and nowadays is one of the most renowned restaurant in town, especially for the huge wine selection it offers. More than 1500 labels and 40.000 bottles with rarities and exceptionally valuable vintages. A chance to taste and discover not only almost all the local Veronese, but also other Italian and world wines.
Bottega del vino is also well known for its dishes, typical of the Veronese tradition: risotto all'amarone, polenta with horse meet stew (pastissada de' caval'), lasagnette coi fegatini (noodles with kideneys), etc. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and when is not too crowded you can just pop in for a glass of wine. They have an incredible variety of important wines they also serve by the glass.
Reservation is highly recommended, especially in occasions of important events: Opera, Vinitaly, etc.
Average price, wine excluded: 40/60 euro per person. Considering that the cellar has wine worth thousands euro, the bill is affected by what you drink.
